Food Intolerance Blood Test, Why Use Blood ?

By now you probably know that Food Intolerances can play a major role in ones health, scientist estimate that more than 40% of the population are suffering from food intolerance, most of them dont even know it ! They think that they dont sleep enough, are too stressed out, dont eat right enough… The first step in getting rid of food intolerance symptoms, is to identify the foods that are causing the problem.

Unlike food allergies, which are very easy to identify, food intolerance are more complex and take longer to react with your body… The food basically needs to be digested and only then affects you. Normally, your immune system is designed to protect you from illnesses, but with food intolerance, the body sometimes doesnt treat the food as food, but as an illness, which trigger an immune like response to specific foods…

When your body produce an immune response, antibodies are created and released in the blood stream, they send a “false alarm” designed to let your body know that an invasion is taking place. This is when chronic symptoms may appear on your body, in order to deal with the perceived threat.

By doing a food intolerance blood test, such as the ImuPro300 test, specific antibodies in the blood are hunted down, in order to pinpoint intolerances to 272 different foods just like if you had eaten those food, the test is designed to be very accurate and require “fresh” blood, because after a certain time, chemical properties of your blood will change.
