Imupro : IgG Elisa Blood Test For Food Intolerance

June 7, 2008 · 1 Comment

Imupro300 is a food intolerance test which is currently arguably the best test you can buy out there.

Indeed, there are a few food intolerance tests out there, unfortunately i do not have any experience with all of them except for Imupro300 which I know is very good. This is the test I recommend all the time because as far as I know it is the food intolerance test which can detect the most intolerances. I went over on their website and grabbed an excerpt so you can understand it better :

The ImuPro300 test can detect intolerances to 272 different food types, through a simple blood test; it is the most comprehensive type III IgG allergy (food intolerance) test in Australia and New Zealand. Unlike other tests in the market place, the ImuPro300 test does not test for intolerance to foods in groups. When the blood is tested for intolerances to fish, for example, it is tested for intolerances to individual types of fish rather than fish as a whole. So your test results may detail that you have an intolerance to salmon but are free to eat any other type of fish. In this way your diet does not become too restrictive. Along with your test results you will be provided with a personalized food rotation plan and recipe book to help you to avoid, or limit your intake of the offending foods.

The test procedure

  1. Your doctor will advise you whether it is likely that you have a food allergy of type III.
  2. Depending on your doctor´s diagnosis, a blood sample is taken and sent to our special laboratory.
  3. Your blood is analyzed for IgG antibodies in our laboratory followed by professional result assessment.
  4. Your doctor will explain you the test result in a subsequent consultation. He will pass you the personal result documents including a patient manual and depending on the test an individual recipe book to facilitate the change in diet.

Yes imupro300 isnt cheap but we are talking about your health here, which to me has no price… There are alternatives, other tests or other methods, for example, you could go on an elimination diet, taking notes of each and every food that you ingest, and then taking them out of your diet one by one until you find the ones causing harm to your body… Not only will a food intolerance test save you time, it will be much more accurate.
